Experts Answering Kids Questions

The healthcare experts at the McMaster Children’s Hospital are here to answer questions children and youth may have about Covid-19.

Episode 2 features Dr. Benson Honig who is the Teresa Cascioli Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership, at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. Dr. Honig teaches doctoral students, in the Integrated Business and Humanities (IBH) program, in the Biomedical Discovery & Commercialization (BDC) program, runs research grants, and travels around the world doing his research. The questions in Episode 2 were submitted from kids who attended Dr. Benson Honig’s lecture “Entrepreneurs: Who are they? What do they do? and Why should it matter to you?” with the MCYU Family Lecture Series at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON.

What in the World? An MCYU video series featuring Experts Answering Kids Questions. Episode 1 features Dr. Katie Moisse who is a scientist-turned-science journalist. Dr. Moisse now teaches science communication at McMaster University. Her writing has appeared in Scientific American, Spectrum, and the Atlantic. She was also a health reporter and editor for ABC News from 2010-2014. The questions in Episode 1 were submitted from kids who attended Dr. Katie Moisse’s lecture “The Science of Storytelling” with the MCYU Family Lecture Series at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON.
