Idea Maker Course – Free until June 15. Self-paced course with videos, worksheets, and other resources to teach youth about entrepreneurship.
Leslie Science and Nature Centre Spring Break Camp – Structured 9am-4pm day of virtual camp. The day is broken up into morning craft, environmental education, STEM education, Chillaxation, song time, live workshop and camp games.
Mathstronauts STEAM Engine program (Grades 5 – 8)
– In this 10-week virtual program, students will learn how to code, make 3D models and do graphic design to either make their own Mars Animations or create an Earth Weather App that uses information from an application programming interface (API) in real-time! This is an excellent opportunity for students at all elementary schools across Ontario. There is a fee to participate, however, many FREE spots are available at HWDSB and HWCDSB high priority schools thanks to funding from the Hamilton Community Foundation and General Motors Canada.
Fees: Students from high-priority schools are able to access the program completely FREE of cost. Students from all other HWDSB schools are urged to participate with a moderate fee of $125.00 CAD for 10 weeks. The registration deadline is October 4, 2021.

STEM Camp @ Home – Canadian non-profit organization STEM Camp is offering free daily downloads with activities, puzzles, videos, coronavirus info for kids, positive message of the day and daily contests—including one for a free week of summer camp!
TVO Kids – At Home Learning – TVO Kids has been working with teachers who have helped put together fun and engaging resources to help kids continue learning at home. Grades K-6.
Venture Academy Virtual Camp (McMaster University Engineering Department) – This FREE camp will offer interactive projects, activities and learning opportunities to students in a virtual setting. Instructors will work with students throughout the program via online discussions and live Q&A sessions to ensure each student is receiving an engaging and positive experience in this virtual program. This virtual camp will be exploring digital skill building activities, at home design challenges, and virtual labs.
